The MPI Original Series We’re Doing Good won Best Web Series at this year’s Broad Humor International Film Festival over Labor Day Weekend.

Written and directed by MPI filmmaker Elvira Ibragimova, We’re Doing Good stars Emily Pendergast (HBO’s Veep) and Jonathan Braylock (Netflix’s Astronomy Club) as a young millennial couple that is aspiring to “do good” in the world. Despite their best efforts, however, they fail humorously and spectacularly at every turn often harming the very causes they are trying to help. 

The series will screen next at the Breckenridge Film Festival this Saturday alongside the MPI Original short film Melons. Learn more about the Colorado-based festival and purchase tickets to the screening here.
