MPI's Rising Filmmaker program helps filmmakers hone skills in writing, directing, and production with the hope that they will be hired and find success in the industry. We also help them refine scripts and concepts, and a select few of these we acquire and produce as MPI Originals.
Intern Placements
The Hollywood Career Launch Program is an entry-level talent-development program, placing interns with partner production companies and on the sets of MPI Original films.
Mentorship
The MPI Mentorship Program pairs emerging filmmakers with seasoned professionals for a yearlong experience of meaningful dialogue, practical support, and values-driven career development.
Labs
MPI labs provide hands-on training and mentoring to take initial film concepts through the process of developing, producing, and releasing short and feature films.
Workshops
These multi-day workshops focus on essential filmmaking skills, including screenwriting and directing, and are taught by industry-leading professionals.

Exclusive gatherings that enable MPI filmmakers to network while learning from industry experts.
