The MPI Original Film Melons is enjoying incredible success screening at film festivals across the country, including three Oscar-qualifying festivals. 

Next up, the comedy short starring Brian Huskey (Veep, People of Earth, Mr. Neighbor’s House) and Martin Mull (Veep, Arrested Development, Roseanne) will screen as an official selection at the DC Shorts International Film Festival held in Washington, DC. The screening will take place September 10 during “The Humors Showcase.” The festival is the largest shorts film event on the East Coast. To learn more and attend, click here.

Melons is also slated to screen at the Newport Beach International Film Festival, which is recognized as one of Southern California’s leading film events with over 58,000 attendees. The festival will run October 13-20 with tickets and passes going on sale September 12. The festival schedule will be released soon, so make sure to check back here in the coming weeks.
