MPI Original Films is excited to announce that our comedy series We’re Doing Good will make its world premiere this March at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival as an official selection. SXSW is one of the world’s preeminent festivals, accepting only a small number of projects from the thousands that are submitted each year.

This five-episode series follows a young millennial couple that aspires to “do good” in the world. Despite their best efforts, they fail humorously and spectacularly at every turn often harming the very causes they are trying to help.

The series was written and directed by MPI filmmaker Elvira Ibragimova and stars Emily Pendergast (HBO’s Veep) and Jonathan Braylock (Netflix’s Astronomy Club).
