The MPI-supported feature documentary Los Últimos Frikis is now available to stream on Apple TV, Google Play, and YouTube, after its initial release on the streaming platform Topic in early September. 

Los Últimos Frikis follows Cuba’s legendary heavy metal band Zeus—the most popular rock stars you’ve never heard off—documenting their struggles to express themselves inside this closed society.

The documentary from filmmaker Nicholas Brennan received significant buzz ahead of its release, including reviews in the New York Times and Los Angeles Times. The film has also been highlighted in USA Today as one of the “biggest fall movies,” mentioned on Entertainment Weekly’s “What to Watch” list, and praised by Film Threat as an “intimate journey.”
