MPI’s comedy news channel, We the Internet TV (WTI TV), has been recognized as an honoree in the Best Video Series & Channels – Variety category at the 24th Annual Webby Awards. 

Hailed as the “Oscars of the Internet,” the Webby Awards is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet. WTI TV was selected among the best from nearly 13,000 entries from all 50 states and 70 countries worldwide. It is in good company, with fellow category nominees including the YouTube channels for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. 

This is the fifth consecutive year that WTI TV has been recognized at the Webbys. Last year, its sketch Stop Making Me Defend Donald Trump was honored in the Best Film & Video – Variety category.
