Are you traveling JetBlue this summer? If so, you could enjoy MPI Original Film’s recently released full-length feature film while you fly. The MPI Original Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game can now be enjoyed free aboard most JetBlue flights!

A light-hearted film perfect for inflight relaxation, Pinball tells the story of Roger Sharpe, GQ journalist and real-life pinball wizard, who in 1976 helped overturn New York City’s 35-year ban on pinball. It stars Mike Faist (Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story), Crystal Reed (Swamp Thing, Teen Wolf), and Dennis Boutsikaris (Better Call Saul, The Bourne Legacy).

In the film, pinball becomes a symbol for how the government imposes on people’s lives and happiness—through prohibitions and misguided regulations, but as Kurt Loader of Creator Syndicate pointed out in his review of the film, it is about much more than this, “The writer-directors, brothers Austin and Meredith Bragg, have turned what might have been a dry libertarian tale of a little guy facing down the power of the state into a love story of real warmth and charm.”

Pinball is lauded by audiences of all ages and types. If you aren’t flying JetBlue soon and you still haven’t see this film called “better than all ten of the Best Picture nominees (in the most recent Oscars)” by Richard Brody of the New Yorker, then you’re still in luck because Pinball is available now on streaming platforms like Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.
