Can you believe that in 2023, it is still illegal for minors to play pinball in South Carolina? To bring attention to this absurd law, MPI Original Films and Bang Back Pinball Lounge will be hosting a screening of Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game in Columbia, South Carolina, on March 7. Roger Sharpe, the subject of the film who played a key role in overturning New York City’s ban on pinball in 1976, will be in attendance. Our hope is that this event will inspire the South Carolina Legislature to reverse this ridiculous and archaic regulation. If you’re in the area, you can reserve your seat here.
