We are now accepting applications for our 2020 Mindful Editor Workshop, held in partnership with Smock Media. Led by top industry professionals, the workshop offers a select group of filmmakers the opportunity to sharpen the vital skill of editing to craft emotionally powerful stories. 

The workshop gives participants hands-on experience with state-of-the-art editing technology, teaches them how to make a film emotionally resonate with a specific audience, and addresses ways to reduce the burnout that comes with an editor’s demanding schedule. 

Past attendees have praised the workshop, writing that the experience is “intense and enlightening” and “takes you back to the basics of editing and storytelling.”

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the workshop will be hosted virtually from August 29-September 26. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, attendees receive a stipend for their participation. The application deadline is July 31. Learn more and apply today!
