Get a look behind the scenes of the MPI Original short Melons, starring Brian Huskey (Veep, People of Earth, Mr. Neighbor’s House, Bob’s Burgers) and Martin Mull (Clue, Roseanne, Arrested Development), in a new video released today. 

Developed in our 2020 Short Film Creative Development and Production Lab by MPI filmmaker Matt MacDonald, Melons is a delightful comedy about a jolly, but meek, grocery manager who learns to stand up for himself after a misunderstanding brands him as public enemy #1.

The short reel features Matt and MPI senior vice president Lana Link discussing the film’s premise and themes as well as Matt’s experience in the Lab.
