National Board of Review Screens ‘Pinball’

The MPI Original Film Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game recently screened at the National Board of Review (NBR) followed by a Q&A with writer-directors Austin Bragg and Meredith Bragg.

Established in 1909, the NBR recognizes excellence in filmmaking. The National Board of Review’s awards celebrate the art of cinema with categories that include Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Actress, Best Original and Adapted Screenplay, Breakthrough Performance, and Directorial Debut, as well as their signature honors the Freedom of Expression Award and Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography. Their 2022 award for Best Film went to Top Gun: Maverick. They screen about 250 films a year in consideration for their awards.
