Many parents have recently found themselves being thrown into homeschooling overnight. In these challenging times, MPI is excited to offer FREE educational resources for home learning.

Entertain your children while they learn economics with our animated series FI$H: How an Economy Grows. The show’s ten episodes bring economics to life, using humor to tell the story of how three people on an island gradually develop an advanced economy. It breaks down key economic concepts such as capital and risk, comparative advantage, and money. Entertaining, standards-based lecture videos, lesson plans, homework assignments, and activity worksheets are available to enrich this series.

Middle and high school students can enjoy the MPI short film 2081 starring Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger), while learning about themes such as freedom, resistance, equality, and the role of government. An adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut’s “Harrison Bergeron,” the film is set in a dystopian future where everyone is “equal every which way.” In this stifling world, a Handicapper General goes to enormous lengths to punish individualism. The film also stars James Cosmo (Braveheart) and Julie Hagerty (Airplane!).
