This year marks 20 years of the Moving Picture Institute (MPI). Founded in 2005 with a clear vision to support filmmakers who tell stories that champion freedom and individual rights, MPI has grown from a small initiative into a strong community of directors, screenwriters, crew members, and industry executives who share those values and support one another. That collaborative spirit remains at the heart of MPI today and has become a vibrant, active movement.
