Today MPI’s comedy news channel, We the Internet TV, releases its newest mini-doc, 5 Reasons Why We Need Sweden’s Democratic Socialism. 

Follow WTI TV’s head writer and producer Lou Perez on his trip to Stockholm as he investigates the truth about Sweden’s “democratic socialism” with some of the country’s top experts. Do Scandinavian countries, like Sweden, really flourish under socialist policies? Lou’s findings might surprise you—they sure surprised him! 

In conversations with scholars, such as Swedish author and historian Johan Norberg and economics professor Andreas Bergh, the mini-doc debunks the myths about democratic socialism being spread in the US by politicians like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The discussions include the truth about Sweden’s tax policies, healthcare, and higher education systems.
