This determined mother launches a natural hair braiding business in Mississippi, only to face unexpected opposition from a powerful cosmetology lobby and restrictive state regulations. Undeterred, Melony partners with the Institute for Justice to challenge these unjust barriers through a civil rights lawsuit, fighting for her right to pursue entrepreneurship and financial independence in this inspiring tale of perseverance against systemic obstacles.
