Have you ever considered a career in the film industry but don’t know where to begin? MPI’s Hollywood Career Launch Program (HCLP) helps talented young filmmakers get a foot in the door. 

HCLP places motivated interns at partner production companies such as Skybound Entertainment (The Walking Dead), Millennium Media (Rambo: Last Blood), and Bold Films (Whiplash) and on the sets of MPI Original Films. To enhance their internship experience, MPI hosts talent development seminars featuring instruction from industry experts on relevant topics ranging from film finance to creative development—knowledge that will enable a deeper understanding of the work they’ll encounter in their internships. MPI also sponsors the Academy Gold Rising Program, which provides additional mentorship to MPI interns from members of the Academy for Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

MPI interns often go on to secure full-time employment in the entertainment industry, landing coveted positions in the NBCUniversal Page Program, leading production companies, television networks, and top talent agencies.

While MPI accepts applications on an ongoing basis, it is best to apply for summer internship positions as early as possible, usually in February. To learn more and apply, click here.
