The MPI Original short Pocket Change has been selected to screen at the Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival on July 24 at 9:30 p.m. in San Diego, California.

Held alongside the world-famous Comic-Con International, the festival showcases a select lineup of independent films before one of the world’s largest audiences of pop culture fans, bringing together filmmakers, fans, and industry professionals from around the world.

Starring Freddy Rodriguez (Six Feet Under, Planet Terror, Poseidon) and written and directed by MPI filmmakers Heston Roewe and Tanner Mobley, Pocket Change follows a mysterious drifter whose seemingly worthless quarter may hold the key to saving a group of strangers when the power goes out at a remote roadside diner.
