MPI’s Rising Filmmaker Program recently hosted a masterclass detailing how directing short films can pave the way to directing full-length feature films. Participants heard from four award-winning directors who have successfully forged this path: Kelley Kali (Lalo’s House, Kemba); Austin Bragg & Meredith Bragg (A Piece of Cake, Pinball); and R.J. Daniel Hanna (Shelter, Miss Virginia). 

The event was held in Los Angeles at The Hollywood Roosevelt in the Cinegrill Theater on June 21 as part of our Rising Filmmaker Program’s ongoing efforts to offer MPI filmmakers opportunities to learn from industry experts.
