Emmy Award winner Néstor Carbonell (Shōgun, The Morning Show), one of the stars of the award-winning MPI Original narrative feature film Motherland, was recently featured on Los Angeles’s KTLA 5 Morning News. During his interview, Carbonell spoke about the importance of the film’s themes, what drew him to the role, and his experience working alongside a remarkable cast that includes Tony Award winner Miriam Silverman (Your Neighbors and Friends, Landman) and legendary Emmy winner Holland Taylor (The Morning Show, Hollywood).

Motherland premiered nationwide in select theaters on September 12 and is now available to stream on major on-demand platforms including Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and Google Play.
