Last week, the MPI Original feature Motherland screened as an official selection at the Vermont Film and Folklore Festival in Brattleboro, Vermont, where its leading actress, Tony Award winner Miriam Silverman (The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window), won the Best Actress award.
