The MPI Original Film Melons was nominated for best comedy at the 2022 Pasadena International Film Festival last week, where it screened as an official selection. Cast and crew joined MPI filmmaker and Melons writer/director Matt MacDonald on the red carpet to celebrate the LA premiere of this comedy short. 

Melons will screen later this month at the Oscar-qualifying 2022 Indy Shorts International Film Festival. The film previously made its world premiere at the Oscar-qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival.
