MPI is excited to announce the lead cast for the MPI Original short Infraction. Inspired by true events, the film follows a prison guard and an inmate who form an unlikely relationship with life-altering ramifications.

Percy Daggs III (Veronica Mars, Christmas in Louisiana) will star in Infraction, playing the role of inmate Terrance Lewis. Daggs has appeared in dozens of films and television shows, and is best known for his role as Wallace Fennel in the film and television series Veronica Mars. He is repped by agent Gwenn Pepper/Dede Binder of Defining Artists and manager Rachel Rothman of Rothman/Andres Entertainment.

Playing opposite of Daggs as prison guard Lieutenant Miles Bennett is Kevin Oestenstad. A stage-trained actor, Oestenstad’s credits include NBC’s Chicago P.D. and the CBS drama CSI: Cyber.

Daggs and Oestenstad are already at work on this project. Infraction is currently shooting in New Mexico. Written and directed by MPI filmmaker Timothy Blackwood, the short was developed in MPI’s Short Film Creative Development and Production Lab.
