The Moving Picture Institute is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to play a vital role in the organization’s efforts to secure major gifts to further its mission to create high-impact films designed to entertain, inspire, and educate audiences with captivating stories about human freedom. The Philanthropic Investments Officer will work in close collaboration with the development team to expand current fundraising efforts, helping to identify, cultivate, and secure commitments from donors and prospects who have the potential to make six to seven-figure gifts to fund MPI projects and make annual, non-designated sustaining gifts of $10,000 or greater.
The Philanthropic Investments Officer will be expected to conduct regular personal meetings with donors and donor prospects across the country and to make solicitations while employing a moves management strategy. This includes being able to travel approximately 40% of the time. This is a full-time remote work position reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropic Investments.
