The MPI Original feature film Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game will screen today, Friday, February 6, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at Little Shop of Games in St. Pete Beach, Florida, as part of a three-day celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moment that changed pinball forever.
In April 1976, Roger Sharpe stood before the New York City Council and proved that pinball was a game of skill—not chance—by calling his shot and hitting it live. That single play helped overturn decades-long bans and paved the way for pinball’s return nationwide.
Sharpe will join the screening in person, with time for audience questions afterward. Get your ticket here.
