This month, eight filmmakers are taking part in MPI’s Concept to Treatment Workshop—one of several hands-on opportunities currently available to our filmmaker community. The program helps participants shape early ideas into fully developed treatments through guided feedback and practical exercises.

One participant shared, “The Concept to Treatment Workshop came at just the right time. I’d been wrestling with a story for months, and the workshop is helping me shape it into a solid piece of drama, ripe for development. I’ve felt genuinely supported by the MPI team and creatively energized by the other participants. It’s rare to find a space that pushes you to hone your craft while also affirming your unique voice.” 

Another noted, “When you combine a group of individuals with sharp intellect, deep empathy, and impressive writing chops, magic happens. That is exactly what I have found during MPI’s Concept to Treatment Workshop. Learning the tools of the trade and conjuring three-dimensional worlds with two-dimensional words has been nothing short of spectacular.”
