The MPI Original short film Infraction is an official selection at the Woods Hole Film Festival and will screen at the Cape Cod, Massachusetts, fest this coming Monday, July 31, 2023. The award-winning dramatic film has been selected for over 12 film festivals and counting.

Developed by MPI filmmaker Timothy Blackwood in MPI’s Short Film Lab, Infraction stars Percy Daggs III (Veronica Mars) and Kevin Oestenstad (CSI: Cyber). The short follows an inmate and a prison guard who form an unlikely relationship with life-altering ramifications, tackling the themes of criminal justice reform and civil rights.

Infraction will screen in the festival’s “Be the Change” block based on the former President Barack Obama quote: “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
