The MPI Original documentary short A Clean Slate had its Florida premiere this week at the Global Peace Film Festival in Winter Park. 

The documentary focuses on Shanyeill McCloud’s work with Clean Slate Milwaukee, a nonprofit organization she founded dedicated to giving people a second chance by expunging their criminal records. 

Prior to the screening, director and longtime MPI filmmaker Trần Hoàng Calvin and producer Kristi Kendall joined the festival for a wide-ranging discussion about the film. View the conversation below.
