Screening: ‘The Dying Business’ // Newark Independent Film Festival

The MPI Original documentary short The Dying Business will screen at the Newark Independent Film Festival on Saturday, August 15, at 5:00 p.m. in Newark, Delaware. The film has also been nominated for Best Documentary Short Film, the Committee’s Choice Award, and the Spirit Award.

Developed through the MPI Documentary Storytelling Workshop and produced in MPI’s Production Lab, The Dying Business follows a quirky Italian American family in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, as they navigate the challenges of keeping their third-generation funeral home running in a changing town.
