Project Home: 3D Printing The Future
From MPI filmmakers Davis Huber and Tyler Schiffman, Project Home: 3D Printing the Future will document the construction of the world’s first 3D printed community. By focusing on the stories of several families set to receive homes, this feature documentary will expose the daily struggles of the community and illustrate the transformative effect adequate housing will have on their futures.
The Perfect One
A young painter revives his family’s failing business by taking an innovative risk in this upcoming MPI Original short. Written by MPI filmmaker Matthew Szewczyk, this script was developed in an MPI Screenwriting Workshop.

This compelling documentary short has been featured by CNN, MSNBC, the Washington Post, and HuffPost and selected for half a dozen film festivals. From 2017 to 2018, it screened at over 50 college campuses across the country, prompting students to think differently about the role of entrepreneurship in alleviating poverty.

Regulation

From Mama Rwanda and Gringa producer Ryan Patch comes a new MPI Original Short Film, Regulation. The story takes place in a near-future world where all emotions can be controlled by a computerized transdermal “patch” that makes you happy—all the time. A young social worker has second thoughts about her job administering these emotional-regulation patches when she’s assigned a young girl who doesn’t want one.
