The MPI Original Film Melons was recently nominated for the Best Live Action Short Jury Award at the Key West Film Festival. The comedy short, starring Brian Huskey (Veep, Bob’s Burgers) and Martin Mull (Roseanne, Arrested Development), will screen at the festival as an official selection this Friday at 8:30 p.m. (ET). 

Developed in MPI’s Short Film Lab by MPI filmmaker Matt MacDonald, Melons has had an incredibly successful festival run charming audiences at over 15 film festivals across the country, including three Oscar-qualifying fests.
