A new year means new resolutions. This year, make a resolution to fight for educational opportunity for all children by hosting a screening of the award-winning MPI Original Film Miss Virginia

A screening is a great way to inspire parents, community leaders, and policy makers to do their utmost to secure your children’s essential civil right—the right to an education. You can even host a virtual screening from the safety and comfort of home by utilizing tools such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Teleparty (formerly Netflix Party).

You will receive assistance from our impact producer, and you will be given resources to help inspire your audience like MPI’s action-oriented discussion guide that details how you can best position your children for success.

MPI can also connect you with local partner organizations to help effect positive change within your community, as well as connect you with Virginia Walden Ford, Miss Virginia herself, who has been joining many groups online to share her experience and discuss her continued advocacy work on behalf of children across the country.
