Elvira Ibragimova won AMC Networks’ Best Female Creator Award at Stareable Fest LA over the weekend for her work on the MPI Original Series We’re Doing Good.

The comedy series stars Emily Pendergast (Veep) and Jonathan Braylock (Netflix’s Astronomy Club) as a young couple who set out to make the world a better place, whether the world wants it or not.

MPI filmmaker Elvira Ibragimova developed We’re Doing Good in an MPI comedy writing workshop. It premiered at South by Southwest, won Best Web Series at the Broad Humor Film Festival, won the Caz Matthews Fund award at SeriesFest in Denver where Emily Pendergast also won Best Performance for her portrayal of Nora in the “Go Vegan!” episode…and last week we announced that We’re Doing Good is a Webby Honoree for Best Comedy.

Now Elvira has won AMC Networks’ Best Female Creator Award for her work on this series! The numerous awards speak to the quality and resonance of this MPI Original.

Congratulations to Elvira and the We’re Doing Good cast and crew!
