MPI recently hosted a Rising Executive Program Summit for Hollywood Career Launch Program alumni, many of whom are established industry professionals. The summit offered valuable insights into entrepreneurship in the entertainment industry and provided an opportunity for these like-minded filmmakers to connect and strengthen professional relationships.

Led by Jody Hart, a Marine Corps veteran and accomplished producer/director known for films like Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Transformers, participants learned how Hart transitioned from his military career to becoming a stuntman, founded Combat Casting to represent real military personnel, and eventually built his own production company. Hart shared essential lessons on career growth and development for aspiring entertainment professionals.

Participants also explored the fundamentals of starting a production company, with Hart covering topics such as business creation, effective marketing, and strategies for securing funding to sustain a new venture while pursuing creative projects. The summit concluded with an open forum for attendees to seek advice and clarify their entrepreneurial paths in the industry.
